Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Sweet chili sauce or sweet and sour sauce for dipping

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, cream cheese, green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Take a wonton wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the lobster cream cheese mixture in the center. Brush the edges of the wrapper with water to help seal it.
  3. Fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle and press the edges firmly to seal. You can also use a fork to crimp the edges for a decorative touch. Repeat this process with the remaining wonton wrappers and filling.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to about 350°F (175°C).
  5. Carefully drop the stuffed wontons into the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy, usually 2-3 minutes. Make sure to monitor them closely to prevent burning.
  6. Once cooked, use a slotted spoon or tongs to remove the fried wontons from the oil and transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  7. Repeat the frying process with the remaining wontons.
  8. Serve the Lobster Rangoon warm with sweet chili sauce or sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
